I think I can safely say that I enjoyed putting this set together more that any other set Ive prepared for a gig this year!. This was mainly due to the legends that are Luna-C, CLSM and Dave Skywalker for releasing and supplying me with some outstanding new tracks in the few weeks leading up to the event. The "Hits You Like Thunder" release from Darwin, Obie and MR.E is an absolute Slammer and will sit proudly in my sets for many monthes to come!. That along with the tracks I managed to extract from Luna-C's Supersets including the unforgetable "99 Red Balloons 2009 RMX" made this Braindrop one of my best raves of Summer 09'. I done my best to take the Braindrop ravers on a journey through as many shades of the Hardcore/Rave/Breakcore sound that I love within the 1 hour set that I was given' and I think my plan came to its ultimate climax with another track that Ive as of yet, failed to mention. Dave Skywalkers' Antiques Roadshow Breakcore remix. If you havnt' heard it yet your in for a seriously sublime rave deliacy!. Also because I was playing a late set I got to play for an extra 25 mins making this nearly as long as normal McMASHCLAN Braindrop rinseout.

MC Cutter was on top form, never failing to hype the crowd whilst taking the piss out of me, himself and the ravers at every oppertunity!. In the end my set went on for so long he had to slip out for a sly fag before the last tune was over!. Very unprofessional m8! : )

Unfortunatly the mixer seemed to malfunction in a strange way that I cant quite get my head around, but basicaly the mic didnt come out on the Recording for the first 45 mins of the set meaning Cutters lyrical talent doesnt make its entrance till Eskimo's bangin Recycled track. Sorry Cutter must have been divine intervention!!! : )

Sharkey has always been one of my absolute firm favorites in the Hradcore scene ever since I found it back in 95' he's always pushed boundaries and made the music he loves his way. This set from The First Hardcore Weekender back in 2005 has now been released for free by Sharkey as part of the promotion for there new nite Hiddencore@Hidden in Vauxhall, the second event is coming up in early October 09' and having missed the first one im gonna make damn sure I make it down. This set was by far my most enyoyable outing to Tinnitus in sheffield so far, and it definetley recieved the best crowd reaction that I have ever received at a Tinnitus event. I went for a much more 4/4 orientated set with heavy use of the new free downloads from the www.kniteforcerevolution.com website. Theres loads of tracks in here that I was just itching to play to a really responsive crowd and thats exactley what I got!. The Omen sound track remix is just explosive plus the CLSM move on remix is just spine tingeling every time I hear it, all in all i REALLY LIKE THIS SET... thanks for having me down guys!..

Tinnitus will now be taking a much heavier part in BDR with a large amount of live sets from past events appearing on our pages in the next few monthes, keep your eyes on the gabba - Breakcore - Speedcore mixes section as most music from Tinnitus is on the fuckin hard as nails side of things...

A Winter Wonderland

I had to dig this one out of the depths but yes' this is another classic set from my teen years, I must have listened to this set over 100 times, most of those whilst very very stoned.The style of this set is that proper club beat 4/4 sound that only Seduction really perfected, any hardcore freak from back in the 90s' will recognise loads of the tracks on here including the sublime Scott Brown - Now is the Time (Seduction rmx) and one of my all time favs Seduction and Dougal - Its not over (Remix). Theres something about the 4/4 chug chug sound that just seemed so hypnotic in this super fresh mentaly detached daydream style, that I could never really get over, sharkey adds loads to the set and sets the scene for loads of the tracks, whilst at the same time adding his trade mark cheeky rhyms about , your brain on pills or, gettin right off it. this is probably the last of my classice sets to go up as I think ive dug them all out now, maybe I might come across a few more... who knows...

After a extended wait ive finaly managed to get my set from Braindrop 028# up on BDR. The nite itself was really enjoyable and I had loads of great chats with Braindrops many friendly faces old and new, Cutter was in his usual cheeky as fuck mood and keeps mentioning his favorite new passtime.. "Sack Attack" throughout the set, if ya dont know what it is google it youll soon find out and realise what hes up to... dont get to freaked out!!!

I went for a darker style mix with lots of Breakbeat choonage in the first half of the set, Ragga Muffins massive Lovin track went down a storm and Cutter made sure everyone in the place knew who was responisble for the carnage.. I had a great time and got to play my track thats been released on Knite Force at Braindrop for the first time which was very pleasing to say the least...! ( if ya curious as to what the track is check out the BDR shop to listen to the clips of the vinyl, or visit my myspace via the link below ). All in all I had a wicked nite with some amazing people and it was a great Braindrop to leave 2008 on..

After what has seemed like ages the next instalement in the Supaset series has arrived!!!. This one took a little longer as Luna-c had to rebuild his website and finalize his move to the U.S. whilst putting it together. This is the Podcast version which was released as the first podcast on the new website (www.kniteforcerevolution.com) It has Luna-c talking over it although this is not very often with about 25min or longer gaps between talking, as soon as the clean version comes out ill get it on here.

This is a mad as fuck set with some very strange and twisted remakes of tracks new and old, im likin the creep remix and the 50's and 60's section as well as the 99 red balloons remake.

Luna-c's new site is like a dream come true for me and im sure many other feel the same way. It has an ENORMOUSE amount of free music in mixable track versions all at high quaility mp3 rates. The entire old Kniteforce back catalalouge is ther plus new releases for free in the form of Kniteforce Digital. Dreamscape 17 vs 18#

11th March 95'

This is another, even more vintage than the ones from lower down the page, set from the legendary Dreamscape. Dougal wasnt one of my favorites from back then but as I go over the sets from the different events some DJs happened to be having a good nite and others not so good, probably off there head on something or the decks were set up badly in there arena etc, whatever the reasons, on the recordings from this rave the Brisk set is a bit random and sloppy, defo not what you would expect from him, dougal sets from back around 94/95 I felt were sometimes lacking in care, it could seem like he was just playing records instead of making the most of his time on the decks, this set however is very different, its mixed very well and has a real feel of a journey through sound or a very real experience being had (at least for the the first 25mins or so, last 20 min slightly more random), theres a really good track about half way through that was used in the film "Human Traffic" but as a more updated House version, this is the original hardcore track, also just to add to the nostalga theres a break in the music in the middle were MC Magika announces that Dreamscape has won best Dance Organistaion in a Eternity magazine poll, Eternity magazine had a MASSIVE impact on my life and was and still is the best magazine I ever came across, it was forced out of business because it was to bold and dared to say to much, If anyone out there has a large number of copies maybe we could start a online re-issue of the magazine with scaned in pages.. I for one would be very happy if that came about... Eternity..I miss you...

Happily ever Plastered

Graffiti Breakz @ Freeformation went like a Dream with Bass6 hosting our room and some kickin upfront Hardcore, Hard Dance and Freeform playin throughout the rest of the venue. I had a wicked time playin my set to hardcore crowd @ a hardcore venue which was a first for me, so much good vibes from ravers at this event and fancy dress was in order, this time it was a fairy tale or fantasy theme, loads of off the wall costumes were floating about with alice in wonderland being rinsed out to the max so it seemed like half the film had showed up to the rave!!. I did have a few probs hearing behind the dex and with mic levels at the beggining but dont care as had such a memorable nite. Big shout goes out to Kev and Jon cheers for havin us down...si. xx

NYE 95-96

I recentley found a load of old Dreamscape and Helter Skelter tap rips online and they are so old now that im think im just gonna chance it and pick out some of the best to stick up... This is one of those sets that really gives you a true impression of just how much the happy hardcore scene really just exploded from late 94, being happy but still had drums behind most parts and was slightly slower, to the full on stomping your brains into oblivion super charged insanely positive fairground ride mind fuck of 95!!! the crowds of the time were just blown away and responded with the loudest whistles and horns atmosphere you could ever even struggle to imagine, this recording at points just grips you from inside when you hear the crowd noise SOAR!! and the Mc cant help but just shout ATMOSPHERE!!! as thats all you can say in the face of nrg that strong and that charged with positivity... its gotta be Harmony and Tekno Storm that really hit me the most and of course Hixxys Stomper super uplifting track..., ez luke (dj playboy as you were then!) if your reading this I only know about this tape cos' you played it to me once in your car, cant thank you enough m8..cheers..si

This set is another total fatty with Billy Bunter playin loads of tracks that were massive back in 95' including his massive choon "Come Alive" which is so fuckin stompy happy 95 freeeshh that it makes me just wanna be there now! with Sharkey on the mic and the crowd noise being absolutley MASSIVE! im again totaly hyped to have this on BDR..... The tape must have had a fault as theres a strange rustle sound that turns up every now and then but that just makes it sound even more lo-fi which adds to the sense of nostalgia and makes you realise just how far weve all come since then... more Helter sets comin your way very soon!!

This set from Dreamscape 23 is one of my personal favorites and im putting this up here in the vain of pure and total self undulgence, its extremley cheesy, very short (23 mins) not even mixed that well, and even has obvious sound quaility probs at the end prob due to fucked stylus, dirty vinyl ect. BUT I LOVE IT!, its got this super meloncholy happiness pervading every track that seems to say 'im happy' for no reason and so what if i am! its super stupid to the point of totaly emersion in absolute detachment from any attempt at being trendy or cool and ends up being one of the best antidotes to caring about anything! for if he can get away with playing music this stupid and yet end up making me this happy, anything is possible.. also Mc Lively is on top form sounding more like a cockney barrow man with ADHD than ever.. wicked set so glad i found it as the tape i had is long gone.. enjoy fibble ect...dfkjhdsp754n3=-oc ;/nyu-.... : )

Braindrop back in camden was like a dream come true for so many of the Braindrop family. The people who were there at the beggining that helped to make braindrop what it is today came down in force to flex out in the venue that made it all happen. The nite was brimming over with super good vibes from the get go as everybody socialised so much it fel tmore like a reunion more than a rave in the earlier hours!' but by eleven o'clock the dance floor was absoloutley buzzin with ravers and the the place erupted in to the Braindrop that we all know and love..

I decided to go for a extended classics set as so many people had mentioned tunes that they were gagging to here again and that suited me down to the ground as I wanted to hear them again just as much.. I had a few probs with monitor speakers and distractions goin on whilst I was mixing so there are a few slight slurs in a few parts of the mix, if you were there it was so great to rave with you again if you wernt' get down to the next Braindrop@jacks, London Bridge SE1 on the 27th of June!!!..

Wow what a unforgetable nite Braindrop 023 turned out to be!!. I got to play to a massive crowd of Hardcore Hungry ravers and played some tracks that ive been gaggiing to rinse out of a massive system ever since I was 15!. Lyrical master and all round cheeky sod MC Cutter gave it all hes got and hyped the Braindrop family to the max like only he knows how' meanwhile the dance floor erupted into a frenzy of flying arms and massive grins. All in all I had an unforgetable nite and by the last 20mins of the set we had a stage full of dancers and people sitting on there m8s shoulders with hands reaching up and into the sky.

Id like to thank Dudgy, Hallmark and Kumar for giving me the slot straight after them, its what I always wanted and appriciate it more than you could know.... : )

EZ RAVE was without a doubt one of the biggest surprises ive had in a long time. The nite was totaly rammed and everybody was playing and raving like it was Braindrop @ The Turtle again!. By the time I got on the decks the place was ready to explode with wicked sets from McMASH and ED COX having already set the standard. I played a super happy hyped up set with loads of new Kniteforce material. LUNA-C FM2 is here at last!. I got the CD a while ago now and let me tell you this one is his best by far. The Ghost town crossed with the avalanches remix is excellent and ive played it out a few times now. Theres also a kniteforce megamix at the end of the mix that knocks the shit out of all the previous ones. All in all its a mix and a half and is one of our most recommended downloads.

EZ RAVE was meant to be a one off event done on the cheap by me and dudgy to make us a bit of cash on the side. It turned out to be a total riot with the place going to full capacity by 11.30!. All the sets were amazing and the vibes were flowing hard with it feeling like an old Braindrop rinse out from nites gone by. A big thankyou goes out to all the acts including, Late Day Breakers, !NONSTOPDISCO!, Paranoia Club, Voodootronix, Sketch, ED COX and of course the legendary McMASH. Also a big shout goes out to Ganga MC who got on the mic and hyped the rave hungry EZ RAVE crowd. This set is from the free CD / Flyer pack that we gave away on the nite. If youve got one of those at home look after it as there are only 75 copies out there. Next stop Braindrop 023 on the 29th of febuary@Jacks, SE1. Supa Set 5 has just been released by Luna-C as a goodbye gift from the Kniteforce website. The website is soon to be closed and Luna-C will move to the U.S. by mid December. But all is not lost, he plans a brand new website with some very unique features that hes very excited about. I probably shouldnt put this on here but fuck it.. its over 10 years old now and Ive been wanting to put it up ever since I managed to get a copy a few monthes ago. This tape is like my tape. its THE tape. the one that makes you decide to be a DJ. I first heard this when I was 15 and ended up blasting my ear drums to shit everyday on the way to and from school. The last 25 mins is just pure nectar. It was the first time id ever heard the super classic 95 style remix ( DJ Demo 95 Style "Brisk remix" ) which is the last whole track on the tape. I must have rewound and rinsed out that track hundreds of times.The choon before it as well is Cut and Run' Building Shaker "Brisk remix" I know every tiny part of that track including all the mental stuttering of the samples and the female vocals. YES M8....The whole set is just pumping with mixes that overlap each other for ages and a super quick pace that was faster than anyone else at the time. Everytime I listen to this set I get a massive buzz and I just hope that you can even feel just 1% of the super charged coarsing NRG that this set has given me... E-Tronic came down to rock the floor at the first all BDR nite in hackney back in october. I put this set in the Hardcore section cos its where most of my mixes are and its prob got more hardcore'ish stuff in it than anything else but the range of music in this set is by far the widest Ive managed to cram in to a mix since BDR first came online!!!.

Geo and LX booked me to play a set of Hardcore Breaks and Breakcore For the launch of ORCHESTRASH @ The Purple Turtle on Sat 21st of July in Camden, but I decided to chuck just about everything else I play in as well!. The result is a set that im probably more proud of than any other ive laid down to date. The set starts with a unique Orchestrash intro before moving into Hardcore Breaks and Old Skool for the first 15mins. Then we do a quick sample twist and drop into a freeform hardcore choon gone breakbeat before slammin in the 4/4 kick drum with the mighty CLSM. After that it all gets a bit random with euphoric breakdowns from Gammer, dark interludes from The Panacea, Heavy breakcore from Soundbytes and Hattrix and heavy freeform from the likes of Cube::Hard, Marc Smith, Obie One vs Darwin and Arkitech. The last 10mins is a relentless assault on the ears in the form of some of the heaviest Breakcore / Gabba I could find!!! M8 I had sooooooo much fun creating this mix.. It also says my name 4 Times, more than any other mix ive done so you can see how carried away I got with this one. If you have downloaded alot of my sets before you may feel that Ive played quite alot of this material in previous sets. This is true but Im being asked to do sets every month and due to my unique style its extremly hard to find totaly new material every time. I feel that this mix is the best blend of some of my most sought after choons so im gonna pull the "artistic licence" card on this one...LOL Take care of yourselves and hope you enjoy the ride!!!.... .

LUNA-FM is LUNA-C's effort to do something totaly original in a scene that likes to stick to its tried and tested formulas. I have so much respect for this mix as it does indeed manage to do something totaly original and must be the most copyright infringing mix ever. 94-95 Hardcore mix

(2 hour studio mix)

WARNING OLD MIX TAKEN FROM TAPE I RECORDED IN 2001' JUST COS I WANTED IT ON HERE!!!

After a long search I managed to find both the tapes that this mix was originaly recorded on, back in 2001 I recorded this mix on to a tape but it was so long it ended up having to be spread over 3 sides, ive always had a soft spot for many of the tracks on this mix and really wanted it to be on BDR so I could listen to it easily, theres a couple of tiny areas were the original tape had got chewed up and then been repaired causing a quick silence followed by a couple of seconds missing from the choon, this only happens twice and the mix is just over 2 hours long so this isnt much of an issue, the style of hardcore on this mix is the more laid back sound of late 94 and early 95 with some real soul movers that still trip me out to this day....
