BOAT RAVE MASSIVE!!! what a sick nite this turned out to be... Braindrop on a boat was one of the funnest raves ive done in a long time. I was totaly impressed with the level of effort that had gone into everybodys costumes and even felt slightly underdressed myself at times!!!. (that never happens). All the sets went down a storm and McMASH brought the vessel up to full on frenzy level within 10 mins of being on the decks, loads of acapella and drum and bass mash up action goin on in this set along with a good splattering of this new Wobble and Bass music that seems to have spawned itself from dubstep over the last year or so, (Wobble and Bass has now been added to the Electro and Dubstep mixes section if your lookin for that kind of ting). McMASH also showcased more of there own productions than ever before in this set with a good few tracks produced by the McMASHCLAN. check out the mix below which is a full on MCMASHCLAN production mix that was given out at the end of the boat party as part of the free Braindrop CD. This was my first Braindrop of 2009 after returning from abroad and I didnt hesitate to make the most of it!. All the sets were emmense and I rinsed it out hard with McMASH and Parasite being my 2 favs. This was a bit of a milestone for Braindrop as it was Braindrop 30# and it was there last event at jacks for the forseable future although they arnt ruling out returning there for one off events, I felt like the system was sounding extra tweaked that nite and everyones sets sounded super loud and super crisp. The McMASH set was tight as you like and I ended up staying around for the whole of there set and was left wanting more when the end inevetably came, lovin the AC Slater remix of Moby (its at about 1hour 8mins in). Sick track!.

The infamous Braindrop Xmas party was another wicked rinse out and a great Braindrop to leave 2008 on, McMASH were on the case with another twisted intro done xmas style-eee and Bass6 seems almost lost for words, as he grapples mentaly to describe whats about to be thrown at the rave hungy braindropians that gather before him!. I had a wicked time ravin it up and rushed back on stage quick smart when I heard "Injected With a Poison" come tearin through the system for there last choon, proper hands in the air anthem from back in the day!..

High Rankin was on his usual top form at the Braindrop xmas party dropping some absolutley immense Dubstep tracks that virtualy all got the rewind treatment. The first track is one of the best Dubstep tracks ive heard in the last couple of monthes and im pretty sure its a High Rankin production, as it smacks of his high level production, massive percussion and massive BASS!!!. The drum and bass comes after about 20mins, unfortunatly this set gets cut short at 42mins due to recording problems, still sick anyway!.

Braindrops second return to the Purple Turtle was just everything that it promised to be and a so so much more, I had a wicked time and ended up gettin very drunk, sticking heart shape post-it notes to my face and hugging a giant sponge-bob square pants for most of this set. (check out facebook for the worst ones)

McMASH went for the classic Nero / Jungle is Massive intro which instantly brought back the vibe and kicked it off HARDCORE!.

The Boys went for a different approach this time with them playing as a threesome for the first 30 mins as normal, then having 20mins each one after the other for the rest of the set. I think the order was Dudgie, Hallmark, Major Kooms..

This is one of the Best McMASH sets thats BDR has ever managed to get recorded!, im totaly hyped about gettin it up on here and out to the masses, this rave was something else with a real full on up for it party vibe flowing throughout the venue all nite, it just happened to be Major Kumes Birthday and just happened to be the first time we got the crowd noise recorded so you can probably pick out your voice in the massive happy birthday chorus, if you were lucky enough to be there on the nite!. Kumes got a massive birthday shout from the whole of Braindrop and it was great to see them really getting some love goin in the building like only they now how, also Bass6 was on top form as usual and super hyped the vibe for McMASH CLAN to the max, i really feel that hes got a special relationship with the Braindrop crowd, and they respond with love and respect everytime as they know he will give them nothing but the same back.

The first track dropped is the first ever Chase and Status dupstep track to be released and fuck me is it a fatty, wicked set sooooo hyped .. excelent : )

After trying to decide what section to put this mix in I thought id just stick it in the section that people look at the most (which is drum and Bass) even though it has NO DRUM AND BASS in it at all!, this is cos its extremly varied and didnt fit well in to any catagory so I thought instead of half fitting it in somewere id just stick it somewere were it didnt fit at all, the set starts with electro breaks stuff before moving into hardstyle and gabbe before a tech hitch with Mr Floorclearers laptop seemed to throw him off on a mad tip which resulted in him playing happy hardcore gabba oldskool and then Born Slippy!..? this all went down very well and I especialy remember the section after the laptop fuck up as being loads of fun with me and Bass6 dancing about like twats on the stage and the crowd responding in true rave fashion to Born Slippy, propper hands in the air moment that one!!.. anyway just to say that the tracks start skipping a bit about 10 mins or so before the laptop fuck up but after that its fine apart from Bass6's dodgy mic lead crackling every so often... fucking technolgy cant live with it , cant live without it..?

This is a super tight super clean mix done in the super secret totaly psycheldelic McMASH studios somewere in North London. If you came down to the Braindrop summer party a couple of weeks ago you may have be given this mix as a free CD that was in a super flashy DVD case with full colour sleeve!. There were only 125 of those given out so if youve got one just remember' there extra special.!

This mix is named after the next braindrop which is to be held on the 25th of July @ Jacks, London Bridge. After this one it goes back to a two month gap so no Braindrop after that one till the end of September... we do like to keep you updated.

This was by far one of my favorite Braindrops to date with the speakers and stage in a much more raver engaging position. The super colourful vibes were draped all over the venue which created a real festival atmoshpere. The Break dancers were body popping all nite long and added yet another layer of diversity to this already brimming epic rave rinse out.

The intro was a rip off of the film 300 in case you didnt work it out and the 2 members of the Braindrop crew playing the characters from the film looked very sizzling with there shirts off and there make up enhanced stomach muscles!!!...

The venue went to near capacity by midnight and we all got together to show them exactly how its done!. The McMASHCLAN were in full effect and effortlessly took every single raver to the peak or X-tasy and back again with the just the flick of a switch and the drop of a needle.
